About Us

MMRS is owned and operated by John & Jean Maguire, owners of Muttco Mountain motocross track.

John has an extensive history in motocross, both as a rider and more recently as a track designer, owner & operator. He has gained a reputation for building challenging, safe, well prepared and maintained tracks that are fun for all riding abilities. John has built and continues to build tracks throughout different communities for kids and parents to race and practice on.

John has years of experience as chief referee at motocross events and combines his riding experience, management skills and mild - no bull mannerism to achieve a fun filled, well organized environment.

Over the years, John & Jean have supported kids in sports through baseball, hockey, skiing and dirt biking. They have spent extensive time and money preparing and maintaining safe places for kids to have fun.

MMRS is an extension of this commitment.

Maguire's Motocross Racing Series (MMRS) is a racing series for motocross & ATV's that runs from April - Oct. It is a family structured club that caters to all abilities of riders, from beginner to expert. Riders are classified by their ability and experience which allows children just starting out to ride and develop with other beginners. Riders earn "move up points" each race, building points to move to a faster class. This structure has been proven to reduce the risk of injury as well as building the riders' confidence.

MMRS prides itself in providing a class for Mom and Dad to ride in as well as the kids. Mom & Dad can compete at either a competitive or recreational level. Check out our schedule and class structure.

MMRS has a great line up of tracks and prepares them in a pristine manner that will make you want to get out here and get the gas on.

MMRS keeps the dust almost non existent and the track maintained during the race day, providing for safe riding conditions throughout the full schedule, from spring to fall.

MMRS is the only club that grooms at key times in the schedule as to not delay the races but to keep the track suitable for the ability classes that don't like a rough, hard track to ride (Mom & Dad). Our highly competitive classes are Junior A, Senior, Expert and Under 29A. The tracks are left rough for this part of the schedule.

MMRS want you to have a great race day with no injuries. We believe that with more practice time accidents will be greatly reduced so we will be offering Saturday practice on the weekend of the race at some of the tracks. Practice schedules will be posted.

MMRS will be offering schools as well as lessons for groups or private, beginner to pro.
